Technology that’s engineered, not improvised.

Tautiss designs and installs Control4 smart homes, home cinema, resilient networks and business IT — with qualified electrical work and Microsoft 365 handled by the same team, under one contract.

TAU — 02Why one team matters

The trades that usually blame each other work for the same company here.

On a typical integration project, the electrician, the network installer and the AV programmer are three different firms. When the keypad doesn’t fire the circuit, everyone points sideways — and you pay for the meeting.

Tautiss carries all three trades in-house. First-fix wiring, containment and consumer unit work happen on the same drawings as the rack layout and the Control4 programming. One point of responsibility, from chase to commissioning.

Integration

Control4 & Crestron design, programming and commissioning. Lighting, audio, video, blinds, door entry.

Electrical

First & second fix, lighting circuits, containment, EV charging and inspection & testing — to BS 7671.

IT & Networks

Structured cabling, UniFi Wi-Fi design, FortiGate security, Microsoft 365 and ongoing managed support.

A South-East London home where one press runs the whole evening.

Whole-house Control4 for a private residence: lighting scenes on engraved keypads, Triad multi-room audio, a Dirac-calibrated 5.4.4 Atmos media room, 2N door entry and UniFi Protect cameras — on one interface, with a keypad by the door that shuts the whole house down.

TAU — 03Equipment schedule

Specified by name, sourced through authorised UK distribution.

We install what we’d put in our own homes, supplied through authorised UK distribution — AWE Europe and ADI Global — so it’s genuine stock with full manufacturer warranty, and firmware support that doesn’t vanish after handover. Control4 work is designed and programmed in-house by a certified engineer.

Every name above has a job — that’s why it’s on the schedule. If a platform isn’t right for your project, we’ll say so and specify what is.

TAU — 04How a project runs

Survey to handover, in four stages.

Survey & design

Site visit, cable routes, coverage planning and load calculations. You get drawings and a fixed, itemised quotation — not a day rate and a shrug.

First fix

Containment, structured cabling and electrical works while walls are open. Every run tested and labelled before a single board goes back on.

Install & commission

Racks built and dressed, equipment configured, scenes programmed. We calibrate, then walk the household or crew through it until it’s obvious.

Document & support

As-built documentation, credentials handed over properly, and remote monitoring if you want us to keep watch. No lock-in — the system is yours.

TAU — 05What you actually receive

Documentation is the product. The kit is just where it lives.

Any installer can make a system work on the day. The difference shows two years later, when something needs changing and nobody remembers which cable does what. Every Tautiss project hands over a documentation pack — so the next engineer, even if it isn’t us, starts from drawings instead of guesswork.

As-built drawings

Rack elevations, cable schedules and network topology as installed — not as guessed.

Labelled everything

Both ends of every cable, every patch port, every breaker. Traceable in seconds.

Credentials handover

Admin access in your name from day one. Your system, your accounts, your choice of who maintains it.

Support that answers

Remote monitoring and maintenance plans if you want them — a named engineer, not a queue.
